Why
hire this guy?

He's a seasoned and innovative business executive who finds a way...when the budget's short, the situation seems too complex, and morale is at its lowest, Alan will find a way to stand the situation on its head and focus attention and resources on stepping-stones instead of roadblocks.

About Alan Rollins

He began his career in agency public relations and advertising, but Alan's passion was helping small businesses, the kinds of enterprises needing broader support for marketing and infrastructure. As a consultant, a teacher, and an employee, he has found solutions for
those below the radar of the likes of the SBA.

Small companies can't budget $100,000+ for enterprise CRM/VRM software or for a major business intelligence initiative, but they still need similar resources to remain competitive. Alan's philosophy: “If we can't afford the fancy, turnkey packages, let's identify specific needs and develop methods to meet those needs using tools we can afford.”

Part marketing director, part accountant, frequent software coder, sometimes network and cabling technician, and even the guy who fixes the phones, plans office renovations, and does some of the finish carpentry, Alan fills the gaps — and, damn, his crazy ideas succeed. He squeezes every ounce of productivity out of off-the-shelf software, such as Peachtree Accounting, programs office automation with Microsoft Access and Excel, and arranges low-cost marketing efforts that increase sales bit-by-bit.

Besides assisting individual businesses, he has worked with government officials, Legislators, and leaders in industries from construction to education to bring about changes in regulations, and even state code, to correct problematic situations for entire groups. Whatever it takes, find a way.
